At the heart of this year’s theme, dubbed “Rockin’ Christmas,” is a towering 20-foot Santa Claus rocking an electric guitar while capturing the eyes and imaginations of shoppers with its unique, rock-infused twist. This bold and playful twist on tradition brings an exciting burst of energy to the mall’s holiday scene, captivating shoppers from the moment they enter.

Located at the mall atrium, the centerpiece is a captivating 10-meter by 10-meter display, where Santa Claus takes center stage in full rock star mode. Set against a background of towering, brightly lit Christmas trees, the scene comes alive with dazzling lights and an abyss 3D bright color-changing LED floor. Adding to the energy, vibrant sound panels and towering speakers transform the space into North Pole’s ultimate rock concert.
“With this year’s centerpiece, we wanted to give something unexpected and exciting,” said SM City Grand Central’s Assistant Mall Manager Alpha B. Hernandez. “Santa’s transformation into a rock legend speaks to the joy, freedom, and creativity of the holiday spirit, reminding us all to have fun and let loose this season,” Hernandez added.
